One month left to enter the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2022

There’s only one month to go until the deadline for entries in the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2022. 

If you’ve worked on an outstanding project that was completed in 2021 and your building control provider was the local authority, then now is the time to enter!

The awards focus on the very best in technical innovation and construction quality, helping to raise the level of construction quality across England and Wales. Providing the ideal opportunity to celebrate excellence within the construction industry; focussing on both the fantastic projects that have been completed as well as the individuals working on them. 

We have a number of categories ranging from residential extensions, new housing developments, non-residential new builds and categories celebrating the outstanding individuals working within the construction industry.

NEW FOR 2022

LABC has invested in a new awards platform for entries, meaning you can work on more than one entry at a time. 

The new platform makes it easier for you to work on entries, allowing you to return to your entry before submitting it (make sure you submit by the deadline of 1 July).  

If you have entered the awards previously, you will still need to register as this is a new platform.

Entries can be submitted by anyone involved in the project, including contractors, architects, clients and local authority building control surveyors. All entries will be endorsed by a local authority building control surveyor.

When submitting an entry make sure to upload high quality images that show you or your project clearly.

Entries will be closing on Friday 1 July 2022. 

Regional judging will take place over the summer with regional winners invited to attend the coveted Grand

Finals in London on Friday 27 January 2023.
