LABC Warranty service update
LABC Warranty on-site inspections were paused from Monday 30 March until further notice.
Following the Government’s stricter measures to ensure social distancing, LABC Warranty’s national team of Risk Management Surveyors will no longer be booking or undertaking any on-site inspections.
We will still continue to review final inspections and will be communicating to our clients the process of how to request these in due course.
We trust our clients will understand that this move is to protect the safety and welfare of our staff and our customers. While many sites are already scaling back construction, our decision has not been taken lightly and we apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.
Remote inspections for continuing sites
To support sites where work continues, our surveying team will review photographic and video evidence detailing construction progress around some key inspections that otherwise would have taken place on-site.
Other LABC Warranty services will continue
We expect all other services to continue with staff now working from home. Existing clients will continue to have access to our teams via our Extranet, email and phone lines which are now re-routed to our remote workers. Although we have access to all systems as normal, please be aware we will be unable to provide hard copies of any Certification during this time.
Going forward
Rest assured our site inspection service will resume as soon as the Government advises that it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we ask that everyone takes all possible measures to stay safe and follow the official guidelines during this difficult time.
