Winners of the LABC Building Excellence Grand Finals 2018 chosen

Judging has just finished for this year’s LABC Grand Final Building Excellence awards. Our panel of judges, made up of industry experts, had a tense day of debate - but emerged with the winners of the 14 categories from our shortlist of regional winners. 

Our awards showcase buildings and design teams that have had to tussle with complex technical or construction issues and building site constraints. They highlight innovative and creative solutions and building control professionalism that leads to safe, sustainable and high quality construction projects.

Events, Awards and Marketing Co-ordinator Chloe Ellison said: “The standard of nomination keeps getting better and better. This year’s was excellent and the judges had a very hard time making a decision for each of the categories. We’re very much looking forward to the night and announcing the winners.” 

 

The Grand Finals will be held on the 9th November at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel, and promises to be a spectacular night, with comedian/impressionist Jon Culshaw as host for the evening.
