Using versatile products can save you time and help to reduce overall construction costs. One such product is Permavent’s PermaFol - a high performance insulated breathable membrane designed for use in both roofs and walls.

The LABC-Registered EW486 Permavent Permafol can be used with any type of roof cover (metal, tiles, slates) and is suitable for both new and refurbishment projects. It can be used in conjunction with any type of insulation and is available in rolls of 18m² (1000mm width) in a 10mm thickness.

Permafol has a thermal conductivity (lambda value) of 0.033 W/mK and, used in conjunction with other insulation materials, can help you achieve the required thermal properties. Maximum thermal efficiency can be achieved by leaving a 20mm air gap on both sides between the product and other parts of the structure.

Boasting a Euroclass fire rating of A2s1do, Permafol can also be used to upgrade the fire performance of roofs in fire exposed areas.

The quick and easy installation of 'all in one' Permafol can offer a considerable labour saving when compared against more complicated installations involving multi component products.

LABC Registered Details, now known as LABC Assured (as of March 2019), is a one-off certification process proving compliance with building regulations and standards across England, Wales & Scotland. Registering your product, system or house type with LABC increases industry confidence while also raising the profile of your company.
