LABC quality management goes from strength to strength
Two more local authority building control teams have passed external audits as part of LABC’s ISO-backed quality management system.
Leeds and Harlow building control were independently assessed by Alcumus ISOQAR and both teams passed with flying colours. LABC’s quality management system is about providing a consistent approach on managing competency, performance and resources, backed by a third party audit.
Commenting, LABC’s Deputy Managing Director, Lorna Stimpson, said, “I am personally delighted so many of our local teams are signed up to the quality management process. This system has been more than two years in development and is part of our desire to prove the quality of local authority building control.”
Six more teams are due go through their audits between now and the 23 May, meaning LABC is on target to reach 45 certificated teams by the summer.
