Celebrating 30 years of the LDSA at the President's Lunch

On Thursday 2 November, the LDSA hosted their annual President’s Lunch. This year was slightly different to usual as they were celebrating their 30th anniversary, and therefore decided to push the boat out a bit, choosing the fabulous Altitude 360 in the Millbank Tower to host the event.

The event was a huge success, with over 120 guests attending ranging from present LDSA members to guests who have supported them along the way.

This year’s President Anthony Oloyede welcomed the guests to the event, thanking his team at the London Borough of Hillingdon as well as the LDSA and individuals who have helped him throughout his year (including a touching message to his family).

The event was also used in part to launch the LDSA’s new publication of the industry-respected Piling Guide.

Anthony’s year will be remembered in part for bringing the LDSA into the digital age. A new web presence was developed, and a strong social media presence was enhanced at the event with the use of an InstaFrame to take fun photos of the guests.

It was a magnificent way to celebrate 30 years of the LDSA, bringing together memories of the past and paving the way for exciting times ahead.
