North Yorkshire – Building Surveyors
North Yorkshire Building Control Partnership
Closes: 10 March 2019
Can you help towards effectively delivering the Building Control function within the heart of North Yorkshire?
Whether you are an experienced Building Surveyor or looking to start your career within Building Control – we want to hear from you!
North Yorkshire Building Control Partnership (NYBCP) have some exciting opportunities for Building Surveyors across various levels of experience to join our existing team; helping us to deliver the Building Control function throughout North Yorkshire.
We are proud to be the first Local Authority Building Control Partnership in the UK; providing a flexible and modern building control service on behalf of Hambleton, Richmondshire, Ryedale, Scarborough and Selby Councils. We have a wealth of experience and knowledge across all types of projects and construction techniques and we utilise innovative solutions.
We process Building Regulation applications under the provisions of Section 91 and 92 of the Building Act 1984. Building Regulations exist to secure the health, safety, welfare and convenience of people in and about buildings, together with the conservation of fuel and power, and access and facilities for disabled people.
In addition to Building Regulations, we undertake work in relation to dangerous structures and demolition notifications across the Partnership area.
We are seeking motivated and ambitious individuals who pride themselves on delivering a competitive, efficient and professional building control service to all our clients. We have the support structures in place to help you fulfil your ambitions, including a dedicated training and development programme.
If you believe you can meet our challenge, we look forward to receiving your application.
